Turkec family has been practicing in agricultural business since 2002 in Aydin which is located in the heart of one of the major agriculture regions in Turkey. Its activity evolved into Nilay Agricultural Products Limited, established in 2007, specialized growing and exporting fresh and dry products, mainly fresh (black) and dry figs from where our head office is located.
Nilay succeeded growing the world famous fresh figs (Black / Brown Turkey) in its own plantations and make it available in the markets between middle of July until end of September. Nilay also offers dry figs, procured from top growers from Aydin region all the year round.
Growing GLOBALG.A.P. and ORGANIC certified fresh and dry figs, we export to all over the world under our own brands FIGART, NILAYTARIM and NILFARM.
With Nilay’s top priorities, consumer safety and product traceability, we are able to deliver 100% traceable and healthy fruits from farm to fork.
Nilay has the GLOBALG.A.P. certificate and strictly implementing all related European Union Regulations and Turkish Food Codex Criteria. Also its production controlled and planned all pesticide programs to ‘custom fit’ to maintain customer satisfaction.
In order to meet each special demands of the clients, every order is packed in a packinghouse which operates based on HACCP and ISO food safety principles & risk assessment. Our labelling system ensures that each box of fruit from our production line can be traced back to its orchard parcels and has detailed records of all phases of pre and post-harvest applications.
