As Özer Meyvecilik, in the fruit growing and agricultural products supply sector, we export to many countries from our 8 thousand square meters area.
As Özer Meyvecilik Ticaret, our goal is to enter the European market by converting vegetables and fruits grown in the region into frozen packages.
Our company processes 800,000 to 1 million cases of strawberries during the season. Approximately 5 million kilograms of this strawberry, 3 million kilograms are marketed for direct consumption in the domestic and foreign markets. The other part is marketed to industrial production facilities such as ice cream and fruit yoghurt. About 1 million kilograms are exported to Russia, Romania and Iraq.
Chestnuts, one of the important products of our region, are processed in our facility between 100 thousand and 150 thousand kilograms per season. 60% of this is exported to foreign countries, especially Italy, Jordan and Arabia. Our company markets the remaining part to the domestic market. Apart from strawberries and chestnuts, we offer pomegranate, black fig, angelica plum and citrus varieties to domestic and foreign markets.
