The district of Karacasu has important potentials in terms of marble in our region. A total of 30 million m3 of potential marble reserves have been identified in the Geyre, Tepecik, Hangedik and Nargedik fields in the district. These fields are operated by the private sector.

Marble reserves 2.5 million m3 possible reserves of good quality in the Karacasu - Geyre field, 9 million m3 possible reserves of medium quality in the Karacasu-Tepecik field (operated in the past years), 3 million m3 possible reserves of medium quality in the Karacasu Yazır Hangedigi field (in previous years There are 15 million m3 of medium and good quality reserves in the Karacasu Nargedik Dugunyurdu area (still in operation), and 5 geological reserves of good quality in the Bozdoğan-Basalan Çilebebet area
