AS NAZİLLİ CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, WE REPRESENTED OUR REGION AT
ANUGA FOOD FAIR, WHICH WE ATTENDED FOR THE 5TH TIME
THIS YEAR, 7 THOUSAND 800 COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS FROM MORE
THAN 118 COUNTRIES PARTICIPATED IN THE WORLD'S LARGEST FOOD FAIR,
HELD EVERY 2 YEARS IN COLOGNE, GERMANY. WE DRAW ATTENTION AS THE
ONLY CHAMBER THAT OPENED A STAND AT THE ANUGA FAIR, WHICH
NAZİLLİ CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HAS PARTICIPATED SINCE 2013, AS IN THE
PREVIOUS YEARS.
Food products produced and processed by Chamber of Commerce members were featured at
the stand organized on behalf of NTO. A meeting was held with the Turkish-German
Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the scope of the Fair Programme. The trade
delegation consisting of NTO members under the chairmanship of Nazilli Chamber of
Commerce President Nuri ARSLAN and Chamber Council President Süleyman GÜRBÜZ
was welcomed by Sevgi KALAYCI, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish-German
Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chamber officials informed NTO members about EU
and German investment opportunities and conditions. A video screening of the Nazilli Long
Life Village project, one of NTO's most important projects, and the Reflection of Heaven,
introducing the Nazilli region, was shown to the officials of the Turkish-German Chamber of
Commerce and Industry. Stating her satisfaction with the visit of the NTO delegation, Sevgi
KALAYCI stated that, as the Chamber, they are serving to do their part regarding the exports
of Turkish companies to Germany and that they are ready to provide all kinds of assistance in
this regard.
NTO Trade Delegation Visited MÜSİAD Cologne Branch. Cologne Consul General Mr.
Turhan KAYA, who was present during the visit, had the opportunity to meet with Dusseldorf
Consulate General Commercial Attaché İrem EKMEKÇİ and MÜSİAD Cologne Deputy
Chairman of the Board of Directors Oğuz KORUNTAŞ. The NTO Delegation was informed
about entering the German Market and the work that needs to be done. The questions of the
companies in the NTO delegation regarding their exports to Germany were answered.

We have been regularly participating and opening a stand in this organization, which is the
world's largest and also the most important fair where international food companies come
together, since 2013 Our region shows a feature where food production and agricultural
activities come to the fore and the regional economy is mainly based on agricultural activities.
As Nazilli Chamber of Commerce, we believe that development is only possible with
production and exports. In this regard, a significant part of our Chamber's activities consists of
increasing exports, guiding our companies with export potential, and ensuring that they take
their first steps into foreign markets. NTO makes every effort to export every product
produced and processed in its region in a way that creates added value. As long as we serve;

enrichment of our region.
